Celebrate Mother's Day with a special Darnley's cocktail! 🍸️ The Darnley's Chamomile & Honey Cup.
This fragrant twist on a bees knees cocktail is perfect not only for celebrating with the mother figure in your life, but for welcoming the first signs of spring too!
You will need:
🍸️ For the cocktail:
175ml lemon juice
50ml Darnley's original gin
🌸 For the chamomile syrup:
6 tsp honey
115g sugar
175ml water
8 bags chamomile tea
Flowers for garnish
How to make the chamomile syrup:
- Combine Sugar, honey and water in a small saucepan and set over medium heat.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove from heat and add the chamomile tea bags; steep for about 10 minutes, then discard tea bags. Let the syrup cool and then transfer to an airtight container and chill until ready to use.
How to make the cocktail:
- Combine the gin, lemon juice and chamomile syrup in a cocktail shaker over ice.
- Shake and strain into your favourite cocktail glass.
