Whoever you're celebrating with this year, enjoy Valentine's Day with our Darnley's Love Potion cocktail. Using Darnley's Original recipe gin, this sweet cocktail uses a twist of tart grapefruit and fragrant rosemary to open up a world of exciting flavours.
To make this tasty cocktail, you will need:
25ml Darnley's Original Gin
25ml grapefruit juice (strained)
25ml Soda water
10ml Vanilla syrup (if you don't have vanilla syrup, you can use 1tsp vanilla extract combined with 10ml simple syrup instead)
10ml St Germain Elderflower liqueur
1 Grapefruit, Slice
1 Rosemary, Sprig
Method:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Combine Darnley's Gin, St Germain, and vanilla syrup into the shaker.
3. Shake until blended & ice cold.
4.Strain into a coup style class over one large ice cube.
5. Strain in the grapefruit juice and top with soda.
6. Garnish with a grapefruit slice and rosemary sprig.
7. Serve & enjoy!
